SSVF is a housing first model that assists low-income Veterans and their families who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness. The goal is to assist Veterans in obtaining or maintaining permanent housing. Temporary financial services include rental assistance, security deposit/utility deposit, rental and utility assistance, childcare costs, moving costs and short-term storage, and emergency supplies.
