Jamie is an advanced practice social worker with 8 years of experience working with children and families. She gained experience working in a community behavioral health agency in Tucson where she specialized in Early Childhood Mental Health. She is nationally rostered in Child Parent Psychotherapy, and received extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Play Family Therapy. She has worked with children with a wide range of presenting concerns, such as trauma, anxiety, adoption issues and attachment and bonding needs. She acquired a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2010. She implements different approaches such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy.
