Jaime is a person who cherishes the diversities in humanity and has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2016 within the office, school, and home settings. Prior to that, Jaime spent 6 years as the supervisor of mobile crisis counseling services in Sheboygan County. Through these experiences, Jaime has worked with an extremely wide range of age and cultural diversities, though his greatest strengths lie in working with non-conforming lifestyle individuals, adolescents, and young adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, crisis, life changes, personality disorders, cultural diversity, eating disorders, trauma, LGBTQ+ (especially gender orientation), relationships, and existential issues. Jaime has a wide range of educational degrees and certifications in the fields of psychology, counseling, theatre, human resources, and nursing. Jaime has experience providing trainings and presentations to a diverse field of individuals (law enforcement, doctors & other medical staff, human resource management, colleges &schools, public, and other professionals) in many different areas of mental health services (suicide/homicide interventions & assessments, WI emergency mental health regulations, borderline personality disorder, LGBTQ, gender diversity, delusions, and basic mental health). Jaime has received specialized trainings in trauma informed care, personality disorders, crisis services, suicide prevention/assessment, LGBTQ, and youth gender diversity (including the DBT and CAMS models). Jaime is a member of American Counseling Association (ACA) and Association for Leasbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC). Jaime has a lot of understanding in gender identity and transitioning gender roles. Jaime is willing and able to write letters of support for gender affirming medical procedures (HRT, surgery, etc.)
