Mike earned his Master's Degree from the University of WI-Milwaukee and has 24 years of experience working with adults, teens and families. He does voluntary, court ordered and employer referred assessments in the areas of Substance Abuse, Mental Health and Anger Management. He has extensive training in both Mental Health and AODA issues and has done individual, family, couple and group counseling. Mike uses reality based person-centered solution-focused models of counseling to affect desired changes in behavior. He assesses and works with clients that are dually diagnosed with issues in both Substance Abuse and Mental Health and supports readiness to change with clients in all forms of therapy. He is available to speak to local schools and community organizations on a variety of topics related to Substance Abuse and Mental Health.
